Be purposeful not performative

Be Purposeful, not performative

Tomorrow (8th March) is International Women's Day and I fully expect companies to be posting platitudes celebrating the women at their companies. A word of warning, if your company doesn't walk the walk as well as talk the talk, you may be better looking inwardly first to address any issues and acknowledging you still have work to do when it comes to equality. Last year the Gender Pay Gap bot was in full force which led to some embarrassing moments for companies. You can expect media to be following the Gender Pay Gap bot very closely for potential stories.

Useful Tools

Resize images easily

Normally one of my biggest gripes is having access to a large image headshot so it's always a bonus when a client sends me a headshot that's more than 1mb in size. Occasionally it means I'll get sent an image that's 10mb in size, which while amazing to have on file, might be a bit large to share over email. So in those cases TinyWow is a great little tool that helps you resize images quickly.
